Jacque Hostler-Carmesin is the Chief Executive Officer of the Cher-Ae Heights Indian Community of the Trinidad Rancheria. With her extensive background in tribal transportation and land use, Jacque is a prominent advocate for Tribal Nations in California and across the nation. Her collaborative leadership style and deep knowledge of tribal issues enable her to effectively represent and advance the interests of her community and others. In her role as Chief Executive Officer, Jacque is responsible for overseeing the management of all programs, projects, and contracts for the Tribe. She embodies the Tribe’s mission by preserving and promoting cultural and traditional beliefs, improving quality of life and self-sufficiency, upholding tribal sovereignty, creating positive partnerships, and protecting the environment. Her key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic initiatives, making high-level decisions, managing overall operations and resources, and serving as the primary liaison between the Tribal Council, local, state, and federal agencies, and tribal operations.
