Peacemaking Panel

The Peacemaking Panel is made up of seven Tribal members who are knowledgeable and involved in cultural activities, from a mix of families. Members have received training in numerous dispute resolution techniques, from mediation to circle talks.

Disputes can be referred by Tribal Court or individuals may ask for Peacemaking Panel services independent of any court case. Peacemaking is voluntary. Participants can select which of the Peacemaking panel they wish to have assist in resolving their dispute. The information shared in Peacemaking is confidential and will not be shared outside of that context without consent.
