Trinidad Rancheria Economic Development Corporation

In 2015 the Tribal Council established the Trinidad Rancheria Economic Development Corporation (TREDC) pursuant to a §17 Charter to serve the best interests of the Tribe, its members and its enterprises and to protect the political integrity, economic security and health and welfare of the Tribe and its members by, among other things, 1) creating a legal structure which provides for the segregation of Tribal governmental assets and liabilities from Tribal business assets and liabilities, and 2) creating a legal structure which provides for the segregation of discrete Corporation assets and liabilities into separate Corporation subdivisions, without divesting either the Corporation or the Tribe of the privileges and immunities arising pursuant to their legal status under federal and Tribal law.

TREDC Programs

  • The Heights Casino

  • Hyatt Place Hotel

    The development of the Hyatt Place Hotel is the primary initiative of TREDC following oversight of the operations of The Heights Casino. The TREDC Board anticipates project completion by Q4 2026. 

  • Fueling Station

    The Fueling Station Project is expected to restart following the beginning of construction of the Hotel. 

  • Business Development

    The TREDC Business Development Committee was created to oversee, analyze, and make recommendations to the TREDC Board on business development proposals; approaching potential businesses to locate their operations or invest in the Rancheria. 

  • Entrepreneurial Program

    The TREDC Board created an Entrepreneurial Program that acts to attract, develop and support Tribal Member owned businesses by providing business education, technical assistance, financing, and commercial facilities. 

  • Small Business Credit Initiative

    TREDC has joined with more than 25 other participating Tribes in a joint strategy through ANTI-EDC to implement a Small Business Credit Initiative Program.
