Marine and Climate Resiliency Program Manager

Jess is an ocean-enthusiast with a passion for the rocky intertidal and the coastal environments of the Pacific Northwest. After graduating from Cal Poly Humboldt in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science, Jess earned her Master’s degree in Marine Science and Oceanography at Florida Atlantic University studying loggerhead sea turtle nesting.

As a proud member of the Trinidad Rancheria team, Jess combines her expertise in marine biology with a dedication to the Tribe’s mission of preserving and promoting cultural traditions, enhancing quality of life, and fostering self-sufficiency. Her work combines marine and climate research with indigenous community initiatives, and Jess is passionate about making a positive impact while honoring tribal sovereignty and building strong partnerships.
