Transportation and Land Use Director; Emergency Operations Center Program Oversight

Leslie Sanders is the Trinidad Rancheria Transportation and Land Use Director and has been employed by Tribe since 2009. Since 2016, Leslie has assisted in developing and operationalizing the Emergency Operations Center, contributing to its growth and effectiveness. Her priorities have included building resilient infrastructure with robust communication systems, incorporating cultural sensitivity into response plans, and fostering collaboration with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as neighboring tribes, to ensure effective coordination during emergencies within the tribal community. Leslie assists the Chief Executive Officer and Tribal Council in fulfilling and implementing the goals and objectives of the Tribe.
