Emergency Operations Center Technician

Tyler Felt, Emergency Operations Center Technicians, was born and raised in Humboldt County and is proud to call this area home. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, Tyler attended Cal Poly Humboldt and Humboldt State University and earned a BA in Social Sciences before attaining a teaching credential. Tyler has worked for the Trinidad Rancheria for over eleven years in Gaming and is excited to bring that experience into the EOC.  Tyler notes, “the risks of living in beautiful Humboldt County are the same for your family and mine, earthquakes, fires, floods, winter storms, and tsunamis, just to name a few.”  Tyler looks forward to helping put the tools in place, such as Tribal Emergency Response Teams, so that when disaster strikes we are ready to help each other and the community.
